Center for e-Learning

The Center for E-Learning (CEL) administers the online learning program in AMEU according to best practices and guided by the National Commission on Higher Education (NCHE) HEI’s e-Learning Standards – Republic of Liberia.

Located in the BAM Administrative Building, the Center coordinates all faculty who conduct online education courses or programs, and students who register for, enroll in and receive credit for online education. In its standard operation, the Center works with the IT Department, the Division of Academic Support, and under the auspices of the Division of Academic Affairs.

The Center aims to deliver an online learning experience that enhances students’ access and upholds the academic quality of the University. To this end, it promotes appropriate learning technologies that facilitate effective online education.
