Accreditation and Partnerships AME University was established in 1995, and the Charter for the University was approved on February 28, 1996, and published by authority of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Liberia on January 17, 1997 as a post-secondary degree-granting institution of higher learning. The University is accredited by the National Commission on Higher Education (NCHE) of the Republic of Liberia. AMEU recognizes the great benefits of partnership with educational institutions, government entities, businesses and industry; and the University understands that such partnerships can provide mutual gains in enhancing expertise and providing access to a pool of knowledge. Through partnerships, businesses can help the University create the types of graduates they desire.
